Hyaluronic acid – source of eternal youth

Hyaluron – die Quelle der ewigen Jugend

Hyaluronic Acid – The Fountain Of Youth

Hyaluronic acid has become an indispensable part of the skin care routine of most people in recent years. You can find the ingredient in creams, serums, masks, body lotions and countless other care products.

One gram of hyaluronic acid can store up to 10 liters of water and is therefore extremely moisturizing.

Hyaluronic Acid is also indispensable in aesthetic medicine and you can even have this miracle product injected under the skin as a "filler".

But what exactly is hyaluronic acid?

Hyaluronic acid is a sugar-like compound produced by the body.

It contributes to the frictionless mechanics and stability of joints, keeps the eyes moist, and provides smooth and elastic skin.

However, the body's own production of hyaluronic acid begins to decline after the age of 20. Around the age of 50, it is only half as high as during youth.

As a result, the skin no longer looks as plumped up and firm, wrinkles deepen and the general aging process of the skin is accelerated.

This can be counteracted with the regular use of hyaluronic acid.

Does size really matter?

When it comes to hyaluronic acid, yes!

There are three different types of hyaluronic acid. They all differ in size and effectiveness.

1. The high-molecular / long-chain hyaluronic acid

This is the hyaluronic acid with the largest molecules and therefore only penetrates to the top layer of skin. Thus, it does not produce long-lasting results.

2. Low-molecular / short-chain hyaluronic acid

Due to its smaller molecular mass, this Hyaluronic Acid is more effective and gets out to the middle layers of the skin. Results last longer.

3. Oligo hyaluronic acid / mircrochain hyaluronic acid

The Oligo hyaluronic acid consists of microscopic molecules that penetrate to the deepest layers of the skin and are stored there. It leaves long-term results with regular use and plumps up the skin from the inside out.

As you can see, the smaller the molecular structure, the more effective the hyaluronic acid.

While many brands advertise that they use hyaluronic acid in their products, it is usually only the less effective, weak forms.

At 48grams, we use only highly concentrated oligo-hyaluronic acid, which is the most valuable and effective hyaluronic acid of all.

With this precious active ingredient, our organic membrane mask with lots of hyaluronic acid becomes a real anti-aging heroine.

Application:

If you use hyaluronic acid in the form of a serum, it is important that you make sure that your face is still moist after washing, so that the molecules can bind the liquid to themselves and absorb it into the skin.

In addition, after using hyaluronic acid serums - or optionally our organic membrane mask with hyaluronic acid - you should apply a fat-based cream to lock the moisture into your skin.

If you haven't yet incorporated liquid gold into your skincare routine, it's high time!

Even after the first application, you'll notice how your skin literally soaks up the elixir and your complexion looks more radiant and vital.

Through regular use of oligo hyaluronic acid, the moisture content of your skin is increased, wrinkles and sagging skin are visibly reduced.
